Harry Leach

Labour Corps Northern Command

Harry Leach was born in 1896. In 1911, he lived with his parents, Jonas and Sarah, and his four siblings at Cockcroft Fold, Harden.

When he joined the army reserve in 1915 he gave his occupation as Textile Overlooker.

He was mobilised in 1916 and ended up in the Labour Corps Northern Command in Blackpool.

In 1917 he trained for the RAMC and was discharged in January 1919.
