A year ago, Harden Village Council became one of the first rural councils to declare a climate emergency. We’re encouraging residents to get involved and put forward ideas.
Harden Village Council is in the process of producing a Neighbourhood Plan – this is a statutory land-use planning document that aims to shape and influence how Harden develops in the future. Community consultation and engagement have been key to drawing up the Plan....

Last year Harden Village Council became one of the first rural communities in Yorkshire to declare a climate emergency. We have just published details of our climate emergency plan for 2020-21. We’re keen to work with local residents, groups and partners to bring this to life.
