Bradford Curry Awards and Mela

The Bradford Curry Awards are back, and they’re bigger and better than ever, with a two-day Mela event leading up to the prestigious awards ceremony.

The Mela is taking place in Centenary Square on Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24.

The Curry Mela will feature an exciting array of food stalls and entertainment. Masterclasses with renowned chefs from across the region will show visitors how they create their much-loved traditional dishes and burgeoning fusion blends. The Mela is a free event, but masterclasses should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Curry Mela will be a gathering of everything related to the subcontinent’s most popular and established import to the UK and so much more. The two-day Curry Mela will be filled with music, fashion, workshops, masterclasses with pioneering chefs, food stalls, heritage, culture and more. The weekend will comprise of multiple events and activities to celebrate Bradford’s incredibly famous curry industry.
