Arthur Clifford Crowther

Arthur Crowther was born in 1899. In 1911 he lived at Ivy House Farm, Harden with his parents Joseph and Elizabeth and his sister Mary.

In June 1917 he joined the Coldstream Guards giving his occupation as ‘farmer and cowman’.

Although some of his records have survived, they are very difficult to decipher.

The ‘Labour Corps’ and ‘agricultural corps’ are mentioned in 1919.
