The Village Council has completed renovation of the old phone box in Harden (at the junction of Keighley Road and Long Lane).

We’ve fitted it out with some shelving and an Information point. All ready for residents to use as a Book Exchange and Information sharing point. Feel free to add details about local groups and clubs and anything of interest to others in Harden.

It is a small space and an old phone box (so not immaculate inside) but it looks splendid from outside and hopefully can serve a useful purpose again.

For information, the kiosk is an iconic K6 model, which was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the coronation of King George V in 1935. Some 60,000 examples were installed across Britain.
